Step 1: Prepare Your Application Materials
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): An up-to-date CV highlighting your academic achievements, research experience, and relevant skills.
- Essay 1: Describe your academic and research goals, your motivation for pursuing a PhD, and how the PhD Prep Fellowship will support your journey. (300 words)
- Essay 2: Share your personal story, including the values and experiences that have shaped your identity and character, and how your background will contribute to the academic community. (300 words)
Step 2: Record Your Video
- Follow Us on Social Media: Make sure you follow The Admit Lab on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn to stay updated and connected.
- Create a Video: Record a 2-3 minute video explaining your motivation for pursuing a PhD and how the PhD Prep Fellowship will help you achieve your goals.
- Include a Call to Action: Conclude your video with “Thank you for watching my video! Please like, share, and comment to support me and The Admit Lab in helping scholars like me achieve their PhD dreams. If you’d like to apply for the fellowship, visit phdprepfellowship.com.”
- Post Your Video Publicly: Share your video on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. Use the hashtags #WhyPhD and #AdmitLab in your post description and include the link to the fellowship page. Make sure your account and posts are public so they’re visible to the selection team.
