The AKO Master’s Scholarships, funded by the AKO Foundation, support outstanding students pursuing a one-year taught master’s degree at the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science (PBS) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The scholarships aim to assist students from South Asia, Africa, and Latin America who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to creating societal impact in their home region after completing their studies.

Who can Apply for the London School of Economics AKO Master’s Scholarship?
To be eligible for the AKO Master’s Scholarships, applicants must:
- Demonstrate financial need and show they would not otherwise be able to attend LSE.
- Reside in or be a citizen of South Asia, Africa, or Latin America.
- Have received an offer of admission to one of the eligible PBS master’s programs at LSE.

What is the Benefit of the Award?
The AKO Master’s Scholarships provide financial support to students in two categories:
- Full scholarships: Cover tuition fees and provide a maintenance stipend.
- Tuition-only scholarships: Cover full tuition fees.
How Long Will the Award Last?
One academic year.
How to Apply:
- Submit an application for admission to LSE.
- Once the admission application is submitted, access the Graduate Applicant Portal.
- Complete the Graduate Financial Support Application, which will be used to assess eligibility for this and other scholarships.
- Ensure the application is completed before 24 April 2025 (17:00 UK time).
Successful applicants will be notified between May and July 2025 via the Graduate Application Portal.
