The Women at Microsoft (WAM) Scholarship is aimed at empowering women and non-binary high school seniors to pursue a career in the technology industry.

Who can Apply?

To be considered for the Women at Microsoft Scholarship (Microsoft Scholarship For Women), you must:

Be a graduating high school senior
Self-identify as a woman, non-binary, gender fluid or transgender woman
Plan to enroll full-time in a technology, engineering, math, or computer science-related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year. (International applicants are welcome to apply if they will attend school in the United States.)
Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.

How Are Applicants Selected?

The program will use criteria including the consideration of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.

How to Apply:

As of March 12, 2025, the scholarship application deadline has been extended to March 17, 2025. Our scholarship cycle opened on January 22, 2025, and applications will be accepted until March 17, 2025.
