The Q1 Laptop Scholarship, launched in honor of International Women’s Day 2025, is now open for applications! This initiative aligns with the Global IWD theme, Accelerate Action, encouraging tangible steps toward change.

It was designed to remove a key barrier for women in tech. The scholarship provides laptops to support learning, upskilling, and economic independence. It aims to equip women and young girls with the essential tools to advance their careers in technology.

Who can Apply For the She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship?

To be considered for the She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a female applicant.
• Be a valid member of the She Code Africa community (membership application available at shecodeafrica.org/community).
• Be following She Code Africa on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
• Not already own a working laptop and must have already started their journey in tech.
• Be available to receive the laptop in person in Lagos (no representatives allowed).
