Who Can Apply?
- Must have applied for an eligible MSc, MA, LLM, or MDS program at Durham University
- Must start studies in September 2025
- Must be classified as an overseas student for tuition purposes
- Must meet/exceed entry requirements
- Must not be receiving any other Durham University scholarship (except the Durham International Scholarship for select countries)
- Must be self-funded (not sponsored externally)
How are Applicants Selected?
- Scholarships are merit-based
- Selection is based on academic excellence and potential impact in the field
- Diversity and balance across programs and nationalities are also considered

- 1st Round Results: May 12, 2025
- 2nd Round Results: June 16, 2025
- Final Waiting List Announcement: July 7, 2025

Open to all international students. However, students from Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Vietnam may receive an additional £5,000 Durham International Scholarship, totaling £10,000 in funding.
