The Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in Africa and the Middle East identifies and rewards innovative startups that create positive social and environmental impact through new information and communication technologies (NICTs). Since its launch in 2011, this initiative has supported dynamic entrepreneurs from 17 countries across Africa and the Middle East, providing financial support and business coaching. In 2020, the International Women’s Prize was introduced to further empower female entrepreneurs, promoting their inclusion in the digital and financial sectors.

The finalists will be evaluated by a grand jury of influential representatives from the African tech world, who will choose the three overall winners of the International Grand Prix. This jury will also be responsible for choosing the winner of the International Women’s Prize.
The following countries are eligible: Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Guinea, Jordan, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tunisia, and the Central African Republic.
