Who can Apply for the Mkpouto Pius Foundation WomanUp Scholarship Programme?

To be eligible for the WomanUp Scholarship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be female
  • Must be a Nigerian citizen
  • Must have recently gained admission into a Nigerian public university (for first-year students only)
  • Must demonstrate academic excellence
  • Must show financial need
  • Must be willing to submit monthly reports and attend monthly check-in sessions
  • Must participate in mentoring events
  • Must be ready to engage in career development activities such as conferences, fellowships, and academic publishing

How are Applicants Selected?
