The International Excellence Scholarship at the University of Leeds is designed to recognize and reward outstanding academic achievement among international students. Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the International Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be classified as an international student for tuition fee purposes.
- Have applied for an eligible taught Master’s course for 2025/26 entry (you can apply for the scholarship before receiving an admission offer).
- Be self-funding or partially funded (students with full sponsorship are not eligible).
- Hold or be predicted to achieve at least a 2:1 Honours Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
- Demonstrate excellent academic achievement, as well as strong professional or personal experience through extracurriculars or work history.
How are Applicants Selected?
Selection is based on:
- Academic excellence (Bachelor’s degree results or predicted grades).
- Work experience and extracurricular activities showcasing leadership, innovation, and commitment to the field of study.
- Personal statement demonstrating ambition, motivation, and how the course will help achieve career goals.
