If you’re a young graduate living in the Free State, this is your chance to take a big step towards building your future.
The Free State Provincial Government Internship Programme is now open and looking for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 35. This opportunity is offered by the Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA).
The goal is to give young people a chance to gain valuable work experience and boost their chances of getting employed in the future.
The internship programme runs for 24 months (2 years) and is designed to help young people gain on-the-job training. Interns will be placed in areas that match their qualifications. During this time, they will learn technical, public service, business, and life skills that are important in the workplace.
This training will make it easier for interns to find formal jobs after completing the programme.
