The World Bank Legal Internship Program provides highly-motivated law students with an invaluable opportunity to gain exposure to the World Bankโ€™s mission and the operations of its Legal Vice Presidency. Applicants must:

  • You must hold citizenship of an IBRD member state.
  • You must be enrolled in a law degree program (LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent) at the time you would undertake the internship.
  • You must have an excellent command of the English language. Preference is given to candidates with a second language, particularly one of the working languages of IBRD (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
