Tell Me About The Women in Finance Scholarship (FINCAD) 2024 The Women in Finance Scholarship is aimed at encouraging and supporting talented women in the field of finance, particularly those pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management, and derivatives finance within the capital markets. The scholarship was launched in 2014 as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship and has been continued following the 2023 acquisition of FINCAD by Numerix. Based in Vancouver, Canada, FINCAD aims to help its clients be successful by simplifying derivatives finance with the necessary analytics to support and manage exposures, calculate fair values, and size trades appropriately. Finance Type: Partially funded Who can Apply for the Women in Finance Scholarship (FINCAD) 2024 To be eligible for the you must meet the following criteria: Be enrolled and attending a Master’s or PhD Finance program on a full-time basis Have commenced your studies no earlier than January 1, 2024, or no later than February 1, 2025 Have less than 10 years of total work experience and less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field Be a female citizen of any country who is enrolled in a post-graduate program in Finance at an accredited university Which Countries Are Eligible? Also, all FINCADians receive two paid days off per calendar year to perform volunteer work.
