The scholarship is worth €10,000 and is awarded for one academic year. This scholarship covers €5,000 as a reduction in tuition fees and €5,000 provided to the student as monthly payments. Which Fields are Eligible? The scholarship is available for the following Bachelor’s programs at the Erasmus School of Economics: Bachelor International Econometrics and Operations Research Bachelor International Economics and Business Economics Double Bachelor BSc2 in Econometrics and Economics Type: Scholarship for Bachelor’s and Master’s Students from outside the EEA for one academic year. Who can Apply for the Erasmus University NL Scholarship? Applicants must be nationals of a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Applicants must have never been enrolled as a full-degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands. Only students selected for one of the eligible bachelor programs at Erasmus School of Economics are eligible. Applicants must complete a mathematics entrance exam if required. Excellent academic performance: An average final result of at least grade 8.0 on a scale of 1-10 in secondary school is required. A financial statement is required to demonstrate how the scholarship will assist in covering tuition fees and living expenses. Applicants must have completed the immigration procedure by 15 July 2025. How are Applicants Selected? Applicants will be selected based on academic excellence, motivation, financial need, and alignment with the eligible bachelor programs. A selection offer is not required at the time of application, but only applicants with a selection offer for an eligible program will be considered for the scholarship. Which Countries Are Eligible? Students from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where will the Award be Taken? The award is for study at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. How Many Awards? The scholarship is limited in number, and not all applicants will be awarded the scholarship. What is the Benefit of the Award? €10,000 total: €5,000 reduction in tuition fees. €5,000 received in 10 monthly payments to cover living expenses. How Long Will the Award Last? The scholarship is awarded for one academic year.
