Also, the program will award a total of 111 one-time scholarships, with three being granted per state of origin as well as three for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Scholarship Award program is open to any undergraduate student currently studying at a Nigerian university. Winners of the scholarship award will receive a cash prize of Three Hundred U.S. Dollars ($300). Additionally, the 1st runner-up will receive a cash prize of One Hundred and Fifty U.S. Dollars ($150), and the 2nd runner-up will receive a cash prize of One Hundred U.S. Dollars ($100). Eligibility Requirements Interested applicants for the NWAG 2024 scholarship program must meet the following requirements: Must be a Nigerian citizen. Must be proficient in the English Language Must be a female undergraduate in a Nigerian university (excluding final-year students). Must provide proof of state of origin. One letter of recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty or the School Head of your Department. Photocopy of current university student identification. A current photograph of the applicant. An explanation of why the scholarship is needed and why the applicant deserves it (not exceeding one-half typed page).
