When is Application Deadline: August 31, 2024 Tell Me About the Award: The 2024 Jacaranda FM Her Perfect Pitch Business Competition is a prestigious opportunity dedicated to empowering female entrepreneurs in South Africa. The competition offers over R2 million in business assistance, with the grand prize providing significant resources to elevate one businesswoman's venture. Which Fields are Eligible: Any field, as long as the business is registered and operational in South Africa. Type: Business competition. Who can Apply: Women entrepreneurs who are 18 years or older, hold a South African ID or valid visa, reside in South Africa, and have at least 50% ownership of a registered business that has been operational for at least one year. How are Applicants Selected: Applicants will go through a selection process where the top 30 will be invited to a networking session and submit a 2-minute video pitch. The top 10 finalists will pitch live at Jacaranda FM studios, with the top three finalists announced on-air. Which Countries are Eligible: South Africa Where will the Award be Taken: The final pitch event will be held at Jacaranda FM studios in South Africa. How Many Awards? One grand prize winner, with additional prizes for the top 10 finalists. What is the Benefit of the Award: The grand prize includes R500,000 worth of advertising on Jacaranda FM, the creation and digital amplification of a radio advertisement, and a six-week mentorship program covering business modeling, research, branding, and digital, and PR consultations. The top 10 finalists each receive R100,000 worth of airtime on Jacaranda FM. How Long Will the Award Last: The mentorship program will last for six weeks.
