Indian scholarships are made available either by the government of India or by the various institutions in India. These scholarships aid students who can’t find their study program and it also supports them with accommodation and other living expenses. Some of these scholarships are also made available to international students as well.
Studying in India
The Indian education system is currently mainly comprised of primary education, secondary education, senior secondary education, and higher education. Elementary education consists of eight years of education. Secondary education lasts four years and senior secondary education is an additional two years of education. Higher education in India starts after passing the higher secondary education or the 12th standard. Depending on what you study, attaining your degree in India can take three to five years. Postgraduate courses are generally two to three years long. After completing a postgraduate degree, there is the option of continuing on with doctoral studies and research at various educational institutes. There are approximately 20,000 colleges, 42 central universities, 275 State universities and 93 Institutes of National importance in the Indian higher education system. The private sector within Indian higher education is also strong and steadily growing.

Cost of Living in India
India is a cheap country to live in as compared to many other countries. The cost of living depends on what you do and where you live in India. Many basic needs such as; living costs, food, water, and shelter cost you around 15000 to 20000 INR but depending on your expense, it may result in a higher amount or lower amount. The room rent in the best areas in India varies from INR 7000 to 15000 per month.
