Tell Me About The Award: The Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships are offered by Newcastle University to support outstanding international students pursuing full-time undergraduate studies. It provides a £4,000 tuition fee reduction for the full duration of the degree program. Which Fields are Eligible? All undergraduate fields are eligible, except for a few specific courses which can be found in the VCGS UG Regulations (2025). Type: Undergraduate Scholarship. Who can Apply for the Newcastle University Vice Chancellors Global Undergraduate Scholarship? To be considered for Vice-Chancellor's Global Scholarships applicants must: be assessed as international for fee purposes hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University's Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent Applicants domiciled in the following countries are not eligible to apply for VCGS awards as the University offers specific schemes for these countries Bahrain South Africa, Kenya USA, Canada China Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea Brazil, Mexico, Peru Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka Nigeria Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka Any member state of the European Union Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
