The Deakin Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship is a 20 percent scholarship for international students applying for undergraduate, postgraduate coursework within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment. Tell Me About the Deakin STEM Scholarship: The Deakin STEM Scholarship offers a 20% tuition fee reduction for international students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment at Deakin University, Australia. Which Fields are Eligible? Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment, excluding information systems, business analytics courses, and most double degrees (except D364 - Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours)). Type: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Who can Apply? International students who: Are citizens of Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam. Are new students commencing their course at Deakin before the end of Trimester 3, 2026. Meet Deakin’s course entry and English language requirements. Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65% during their studies. Are studying an eligible course within the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment. How are Applicants Selected? Eligible students who apply for an eligible course will be automatically assessed for the scholarship. Which Countries Are Eligible? Citizens of Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Where will the Award be Taken? Deakin University, Australia How Many Awards? Not specified. What is the Benefit of the Award? 20% reduction in tuition fees for the normal duration of the course. How Long Will the Award Last? For the normal duration of the course, provided eligibility requirements are maintained. How to Apply for the Deakin STEM Scholarship: No separate application is required.
