4. University of Alberta Gold Standard Scholarship: Most times, the institution provides the top 5% of students in each faculty with a scholarship award. The grant could be up to $6,000 based on admission average. Also, take note that the beneficiary will be informed of their scholarship award after they must have gotten their admission to the University.

5. University of Alberta-USA First Year Excellence Scholarship: This is one of the country-specific scholarship opportunities. It’s awarded to international students with outstanding academic performance in pursuit of any undergraduate degree program.

However, it’s available for the only the first year from a high institution in the USA. Meanwhile, for a student to stand a chance for the scholarship, the candidate must have finished from high school with nothing less 24 IB, AP, or A-Level credits when starting their undergraduate program at the institution.
