The University of Cape Town was established in 1829, first as the South African College which was a high school for boys only.

Annually, the institution raises its tuition fee, therefore, there is an annual release of the student’s handbook which communicates the new tuition fees for the year.

International students pay more than domestic, ranging from $2500 – $4500 for Undergraduate studies and $2700-$3000 for Postgraduate degrees.
