The WVA and MSD Animal Health are delighted to announce the 2024 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program which will attribute 40 scholarships to veterinary students around the globe to improve their academic experience. WVA and MSD continue their successful collaboration and launch the 2024 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program for a slot of 40 scholarships of US$ 5000 (of a total of $200,000) to be granted to selected students from countries in the regions of Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East and Asia/Oceania. If you fit the eligibility requirements and have a strong interest in veterinary medicine, this could be a great opportunity for you to advance your academic career. When is the Application Deadline: November 08, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST (Midnight) Tell Me About The Award: The WVA and MSD Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship Program offers 40 scholarships, each valued at $5,000, to veterinary students around the world to enhance their academic experience. This is part of a total fund of $200,000. Which Fields are Eligible? Veterinary Medicine Type: Scholarship Who can Apply for the WVA/MSD Veterinary Student Scholarship? Eligibility Requirements for Students Be a citizen or a student in one of the countries under the grant coverage. Not have been a prior recipient of any WVA/MSD Animal Health scholarship grants. Currently matriculated to the academic year 2024-2025 at a recognised school of veterinary medicine. Have completed all first-year exams.Be registered in the second or third-year year of your school veterinary programme (or later years if the program is longer than 4 years). Not be a first or last-year student. Be allowed to receive international funds under the SWIFT system at a bank account registered to your name. Only applications in English are accepted; applications in other languages will not be considered. Tell your story and use your own words, limit your use of AI. Anyone can fill in an application, what sets you apart? How are Applicants Selected? A sub-group of the WVA Working Group on Veterinary Education will review applications. Selected winners will be publicly announced online, with their profile images, names, and regions displayed. Which Countries Are Eligible? Countries from Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East, and Asia/Oceania. Where will the Award be Taken? At a recognized school of veterinary medicine in the eligible regions. How Many Awards? 40 scholarships What is the Benefit of the Award? Each selected student will receive $5,000. How Long Will the Award Last? The scholarship is a one-time award.
